Yemen Aid is a nonprofit organization that fosters resilience among vulnerable communities in Yemen by delivering effective humanitarian aid, promoting sustainable development, and advocating for equitable access to resources and opportunities.
Yemen currently holds the highest maternal mortality rate in the Middle East and North Africa. Tragically, one woman dies in childbirth every two hours, mostly from preventable causes. The crisis is exacerbated by the fact that less than half of all births are attended by skilled medical personnel.

With limited access to maternal care, malnutrition, and preventable diseases threatening thousands of lives, urgent action is needed. Together with them, we build healthier futures by operating medical centers, training midwives and frontline health workers, and delivering essential vaccines and nutritional supplements to both mothers and their babies.
