Join the coalition

Together, we can make every pregnancy safe.

We're building a diverse global coalition of organizations committed to improving maternal and newborn health — and we want you in it.

Every day, preventable complications put the lives of mothers and newborns at risk. No mother should face pregnancy without access to quality care, and no baby should be born into a world without the chance to thrive.

What membership gets you

Boost Funding

Unlock co-funding to scale your maternal and newborn health programs and reach more mothers and babies than your own fundraising allows.

Can your organization join?

Are you a registered nonprofit in good financial standing?

501(c)(3) in the US, or the equivalent registration in your country of operation.

Has your maternal and newborn health program been running 12 months or more?

We look for a program already operating, not a plan for one.

Can you commit to reporting back on program impact?

Outcomes, dated and attributable. It's what lets donors see where their giving landed.

Do you have someone who can actively engage with the coalition?

Members who show up to country coordination and campaigns get considerably more out of this than members who don't.

Four quick questions.

Answer all four and we'll show you where you stand. 0 of 4 answered.

Ask a question first

How joining works

  1. 01About 15 minutes

    Complete a short questionnaire

Tell us about your organization, your maternal and newborn health programs, and your focal areas. One person can complete it — you don't need board sign-off at this stage.

  2. 02One call

    Schedule an introductory call

Meet the team to explore alignment, ask what you actually want to ask, and walk through what membership involves in practice.

  3. 03Then you're in

    Sign a partnership MoU

A Memorandum of Understanding that sets out shared commitments without binding you contractually. Coalition tools, match funding opportunities and country coordination open up from there.

Before you apply

Do we have to be a Muslim-led organization?

The coalition is faith-inspired, and the self-check above asks about registration, program delivery, reporting and engagement — not about faith. If that is the question standing between you and applying, put it to us directly and you'll get a straight answer.

What does the MoU commit us to?

It is deliberately non-binding — a Memorandum of Understanding, not a contract. The specific commitments are what the introductory call is for, and you see the document before you sign anything.

What does “reporting on impact” actually mean?

Outcomes that are dated and attributable: what happened, when, and for how many mothers and newborns. That is what lets a donor see where their giving landed.

Our program is younger than 12 months. Should we still get in touch?

Twelve months is what the self-check looks for — it means there is something real to assess. Whether an exception makes sense is a conversation rather than something this page can decide, so tell us what you're running and we'll say honestly whether now is the right time.

We're an individual, not an organization.

Membership is for organizations, but there is still a place for you here: give to a coalition fund, or start a fundraiser and bring your community with you.

Ready when you are

Let's save the lives of moms and babies everywhere.

Start with the questionnaire. It takes about fifteen minutes, and someone from the team reads every submission — you'll hear back either way.
