Safe Delivery Safe Mother (SDSM) works to improve maternal, newborn and child health by promoting equitable access to quality, respectful and affordable healthcare, particularly among underserved and vulnerable communities. Our programmes focus on maternal and reproductive health, safe pregnancy and childbirth, newborn care, community health education, healthcare workforce capacity building and health systems strengthening. We also provide emergency maternal health support to communities affected by disasters. Recognising the impact of climate change on women and children, we integrate climate resilience, disaster preparedness and sustainable solutions to protect essential healthcare services and improve the health, safety and well-being of vulnerable families.
