MAAN Organization
MAAN Association is dedicated to improving the quality of life of individuals and communities through the design and implementation of sustainable projects, long-term development programs, and emergency humanitarian responses in healthcare, education, community development, and Islamic outreach. Our work focuses on serving Syrian communities within Syria, as well as Syrian and Arab communities in Türkiye, fostering resilience, stability, and self-reliance.
MAAN Association implemented a comprehensive maternal healthcare program supporting 363 Syrian refugee women in Istanbul over three years. The program provided monthly prenatal consultations, transportation, essential supplements, and childbirth in private hospitals with Arabic-speaking doctors. In addition, MAAN operates three permanent gynecology and obstetrics clinics dedicated to maternal healthcare, providing regular pregnancy monitoring, medical consultations, and referral coordination for Syrian refugee women in Istanbul. These services address financial and language barriers to healthcare, ensure continuity of care throughout pregnancy, and promote safer childbirth experiences. Through its programs and permanent clinics, MAAN continues to improve access to essential maternal health services.
