Drop of Compassion’s MSS Maternal, Newborn and Child Health programme improves access to essential health services for women, newborns and children in underserved communities in Malawi. The programme supports antenatal and postnatal care, safe maternity services, newborn monitoring, child health consultations, treatment of common illnesses, referrals and community outreach through static and mobile health services. Priority is given to pregnant women, mothers, newborns, children under five and other vulnerable households with limited access to healthcare. The programme works through trained health workers, strengthened health facilities, mobile clinics, referral systems and community engagement to improve early care-seeking, continuity of care and health outcomes.
