Alanqaa Society for Community Development is an independent Palestinian organisation dedicated to supporting marginalised groups and mobilising community capacities to alleviate human suffering through quality programmes that achieve sustainable community development with justice, transparency, and respect for human dignity.
Al-Anqaa delivers maternal, newborn and child health support to displaced families in Gaza City. For women, we provide vitamins and supplements, health awareness sessions, parcels for women who have given birth, and newborn kits. For children, our mobile teams offer cerebral palsy care in displacement camps and partner hospitals, including consultations, physiotherapy, medication and assistive devices, and we train caregivers in feeding and home care. We also distributed around 300,000 cans of infant formula during the famine, and 30,000 specialized formulas with supplements for children with acute malnutrition. Our own field teams implement and document every activity.
