Through our coalition of 33 organizations—based in the UK, US, Pakistan, Yemen and operating in over over 20—we mobilize communities, drive resources, and scale holistic, culturally sensitive maternal health interventions that ensure that every pregnancy is safe.
Role Summary
Every Pregnancy is a global initiative committed to improving maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) through advocacy, resource mobilization, and program delivery. To expand our impact and drive sustainable growth, Every Pregnancy seeks to engage the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region to secure significant funding from private, corporate, and governmental sources. The GCC region represents a strategic opportunity for long-term partnerships, high-value grants, and meaningful engagement with philanthropic networks.
We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Regional Director for Fund Development – GCC to lead our fundraising and partnership-building efforts across the GCC region. The successful candidate will raise a minimum of $4 million USD in 2025 by engaging high-net-worth individuals, corporate partners, foundations, and government funders. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent relationship-building skills, and deep familiarity with the philanthropic landscape in the GCC.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising Donor Engagement
- Secure $4 million USD from GCC funders by December 2025
- Engage high-net-worth individuals, corporations, foundations, and governments
- Organize CEO funding tour and build long-term funder relationships
Strategic Planning Execution
- Develop 1-, 2-, and 3-year fundraising strategies for the GCC
- Conduct market research and adapt strategies
- Monitor and improve performance
Donor Management Infrastructure
- Maintain funder database
- Track donor interactions and manage funding pipelines
- Register in key GCC funding portals
Asset Development Grant Writing
- Create customized proposals and reports
- Draft grant applications and donor engagement materials
- Ensure all reporting requirements are met
Representation Advocacy
- Represent Every Pregnancy at events and meetings in GCC
- Act as spokesperson and secure networking opportunities for leadership
Internal Coordination Communication
- Participate in team meetings and weekly check-ins with CEO
- Maintain transparent communication on fundraising activities

Who You Are
- A strategic, self-driven fundraising professional with a passion for maternal and child health
- Comfortable navigating high-level donor conversations with professionalism and cultural fluency
- Energized by goals, relationship-building, and mission-driven work
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international development, nonprofit management, business, communications, or a related field
- Proven track record of raising $3M+, preferably in the GCC region
- Deep understanding of GCC philanthropic ecosystems (private, corporate, and government)
- Strong network of high-net-worth individuals and institutional funders in the GCC
- Expertise in strategic planning, donor cultivation, and proposal writing
- High emotional intelligence and cross-cultural communication skills
- Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience raising funds specifically from royal families, sovereign wealth funds, or family offices in the GCC
- Background in global health, maternal and child health, or women’s rights advocacy
- Proven ability to design and execute high-level donor engagement events or funding tours
- Prior work with cross-cultural teams or international nonprofit organizations
- Familiarity with Islamic giving frameworks (e.g., zakat, waqf) as applied to philanthropy
- Knowledge of local grant registration processes and funding compliance in GCC countries
