All Mothers Matter Health Centres Appeal
Qalimow and Gololey Health Centres provide vital maternity care, vaccinations and malnutrition treatment in remote Somali communities. Both will close unless £50,000 can be raised to keep them open.
A £7 donation covers the cost of an outpatient appointment and medication to treat illness. £13 provides a young mother with prenatal and postnatal advice, care and support. £20 enables our midwives to provide a safer birth in a country where numbers of women and children dying in childbirth or infancy are very high. £200 covers all the costs of one centre for a day. The Lady Fatemah Trust has pledged £25,000 to match donations if we can raise the same amount from other sources. This means that for every £100 you donate, we will receive £200 to support life-saving health services.
