In Northern Nigeria, pregnancy is a dangerous journey marked by poverty, distance, and cultural barriers that block access to critical care. The result is a devastatingly high maternal mortality rate; a crisis that leaves behind debilitating conditions like obstetric fistula. But every mother is crucial and no mother should be left behind. Our campaign, Leaving No Expectant Mother Behind, is a community-powered lifeline. We deploy Community Health Volunteers into remote areas to bridge the gap between mothers and the care they deserve.
