Mothers give us their all. They carry life, nurture families, hold communities together, and are a key pillar of growing economies, often at great personal risk. Yet far too many mothers still lose their lives to preventable complications during pregnancy and childbirth, especially in places affected by conflict, poverty, discrimination and crisis. The For Mama Challenge is a call to action rooted in faith: NOW is the time to give all we can for mama, so that every woman has the chance to survive pregnancy.

This Ramadan, every donation made to Every Pregnancy or any of our trusted partners will go even further. Thanks to a $10 million USD Boost Fund supported by the Gates Foundation and the DAMAC Foundation, your generosity will be multiplied. Whether large or small, every gift becomes part of a collective effort to scale proven, high-impact maternal health solutions across some of the world’s most challenging settings.

Our 50 carefully selected partners are at the front lines of maternal and newborn health, delivering the most effective health solutions adapted to meet the needs of local contexts. Through last year’s For Mama campaign, partners reached: over half a million mothers and newborns, trained 785 health workers across six countries, and provided more than 92,000 women with antenatal and postnatal care. They also supported over 73,860 safe deliveries and strengthened or constructed 42 health facilities.

This is what it looks like when we all act together to turn generosity into tangible change.

Crucially, the campaign has enabled innovation to reach women who are often left behind. Partners deployed post-partum hemorrhage medical bundles, to treat the main cause of death. Portable ultrasound technology in conflict-affected and hard-to-reach areas, ensuring complications were detected and treated in time.

When you give through the For Mama Challenge, you are not just donating: you are standing with mothers, honoring their strength, and helping ensure that pregnancy is a moment of hope, not risk.

This Ramadan, let us give all we can, for mama.
