Muslim Hands
Muslim Hands was established as a grass-roots initiative in response to the Bosnian war in 1993. Since then, it has grown into an INGO with over 30 offices worldwide responding to emergencies, providing education, healthcare, food and clean water around the world.
Motherkind - Save a mother and her baby
When a crisis strikes, mothers and children are often hit hardest. Muslim Hands’ maternal health programmes provide lifesaving care for mothers and babies in some of the world’s most fragile regions, including Afghanistan, Gaza, Somalia, Yemen and the Rohingya camps.
Delivering care in conflict zones
When mothers and their children are displaced by conflict and natural disasters, they lose access to hospitals, skilled midwives and community networks providing vital support. In 2024 alone, our clinics in Afghanistan, Somalia and Yemen provided specialised care to nearly 200,000 people, the majority of them forced to flee their homes, often with nothing more than the clothes on their back. In Gaza our donors are directly supporting midwives and primary care services and our maternal health programme in Bangladesh’s Rohingya camp supports mothers surviving in the world’s biggest refugee camp.

Let’s take action for Mama. If not us, who else?
